The Giving Back Fund has launched a collaborative project to create The American Philanthropy Hall of Fame™.In addition to honoring individuals and organizations who reflect the finest efforts in philanthropy, the goals of the American Philanthropy Hall of Fame include:

To present role models for philanthropic action
To inspire and cultivate new donors
To foster the creation of new and innovative philanthropy
To promote participation in corporate giving programs
To celebrate the expressions of generosity and caring for others

Nominations will be open to the public and accepted online. Recipients will be selected by a committee of informed individuals representing diverse interests. Categories will cover the spectrum of philanthropy in America.
