"The people who have the passion, who care, who want to give to society,
they're going to win. This Parkinson's is a winnable game, and we're going
to win it."
Founder, James Warsaw
About the Foundation
Jim Warsaw founded the James H. Warsaw Foundation to Cure Parkinson’s Disease in August
2000 at The Giving Back Fund, where he also serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Warsaw was
diagnosed with the disease in 1993 and since that time has been a leading patient advocate.
The mission of The James H. Warsaw Foundation to Cure Parkinson's Disease is to
aggressively pursue a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. Based on reports from the National
Institute of Health, it is anticipated that a cure can be found within 3 – 5 years. The Foundation’s
efforts in finding a cure for Parkinson’s will be met by providing funds to doctors, scientists, and
researchers to support their efforts.
Recognizing the power of collaboration, the Foundation to Cure Parkinson's Disease will also
strive to work with other organizations whose mission is to eradicate this disease.
The James H Warsaw Foundation to Cure
Parkinson's Disease was the inspiration for the
Cure Parkinsons Program, which is currently the
Foundation's primary grantee.
