About Leonard Weaver Leonard grew up in Melbourne, Florida, in a large family with eleven brothers and sisters. His neighborhood was full of temptations, large numbers of the kids there were involved in drugs and gangs. In school, Leonard found his talent in sports, playing basketball, football, baseball, and track. In the process he also learned how to mentor others and develop his leadership skills. He has now played two seasons with the Seahawks, and is preparing to start his third season. Leonard now lives in the Seattle area with his wife and two children. He has been active in the ministry of Seattle International Church, working with young people and preaching the Gospel at every opportunity.
