February 25, New York – The Giving House today announced a new partnership with Douglas Elliman Worldwide Consulting, a subsidiary of prominent Manhattan real estate brokerage Prudential Douglas Elliman, to help New York Yankees’ fans give back to their local communities while enjoying premium seating at the new Yankees’ stadium. When fans purchase a Premium Yankee season ticket package from Douglas Elliman Worldwide, a division of Prudential Douglas Elliman, a donation will be made on their behalf to the community non-profit sports association of their choice. Donations will be made to The Giving House, a donor-advised fund at The Giving Back Fund, which will then redistribute the funds to charities selected by the ticket buyers.
“These are especially difficult times for sports programs. We feel honored that the Yankees’ franchise has allowed us to help find a unique way to fund these valuable programs,” says Giving House founder, Kerry Fedigan-Cid.
Kerry and her husband Steve Cid, both brokers at Prudential Douglas Elliman, established Giving House to encourage the real estate industry to donate to community-based charities. “Our kids play sports year-round with our neighborhood association. We want to do our part to help support these great local programs that mean so much to our family, and this gives Yankee fans a way to do the same,” says Steve.
In addition to working with Prudential Douglas Elliman on the Yankees’ Premium package, Giving House works with brokers from any real estate firm to help them give back to the communities in which they live or work.
